Watch: Paul Pierce Disrespectfully Stomps on New York Knicks Star Jalen Brunson’s Jersey After Game 7 Loss Vs. Pacers
Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

New York Knicks news: “Y’all still talking?” These were the words that Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce uttered as he savagely stomped on Jalen Brunson’s Knicks jersey following New York’s season-ending Game 7 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Sunday.

The season is officially over for Brunson and the Knicks and Pierce just had to make sure to add a bit of insult to injury now that they’re headed for an earlier-than-anticipated summer vacation.

New York Knicks News: Jalen Brunson Utterly Disrespected by Paul Pierce

Pierce wasted no time thrashing Brunson and the Knicks after their 2023-24 campaign came to an end. Shortly after the final buzzer on Sunday, Pierce posted a video on X, formerly Twitter, wherein he filmed himself repeatedly stomping on a Brunson jersey:

Jalen Brunson Exits Game 7

Unfortunately for Brunson, he wasn’t even able to play out what turned out to be the final game of the season for New York. The All-Star guard was forced to leave the game in the third quarter with what was later diagnosed as a fractured left hand. He was unable to return and finished the game with 17 points and nine assists in 29 minutes of action.

This was a heartbreaking way to end the season for both Brunson and the Knicks, who for their part, have been dealing with multiple injuries to their most important players. OG Anunoby also left Game 7 due to a hamstring problem, while Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson, and Bojan Bogdanovic had previously suffered season-ending injuries.

You have to feel for the Knicks.
